Man Stabbed In Chest Multiple Times By Harrisburg Woman: Lower Paxton Police

A Harrisburg woman has been charged with aggravated assault after allegedly stabbing a man in Lower Paxton, police announced on Tuesday, Nov. 12.

Junping Liu, 62, is accused of assaulting the man with a deadly weapon on the 900 block of Wenrich St. on Thursday, Nov. 7, around 11:15 a.m., according to the Lower Paxton Bureau of Police. Officers arrived on the scene and found the victim with non-life-threatening stab wounds to his chest and arms. He was taken to Hershey Medical Center for treatment.

Police identified Liu as the suspect and took her into custody. She was charged with one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a first-degree felony. Liu was arraigned by Judge Lenker, who set her bail at $25,000. Unable to post bail, she was remanded to Dauphin County Prison.

Her preliminary hearing is pending.
